UZBEKISTAN: British firm sets up textile joint venture - papers

A new US$9.74m joint venture company that will produce cotton yarn and knitted fabric has been set up in the Andijan region of Uzbekistan according to local news reports.
The company, Tagus Textile, is a joint venture with a UK firm called Tagus Management Services Ltd, wrote Just-style.com.
According to the reports, the British company intends to invest US$30.5m into the venture over the next five years.
