Youth Competitiveness Issues in Conditions of Globalisation Discussed

The Senate - the Upper House of the Uzbek Parliament - members, officials of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan, teachers of the Tashkent Technical University and Tashkent University of Information Technologies and the University of World Economy and Diplomacy and the Tashkent State Law Institute and the Tashkent Institute of Textile and Light Industry, representatives of the Uzbek Commercial and Industrial Chamber and the Kamolot Youth Social Movement and some NGOs, also employees of the State Demonopolization Committee and State Committee for Nature Protection of Uzbekistan and some ministries took part in this forum.
The main purpose of this event was to define the basic indicators and expert estimations of competitiveness of the youth in the conditions of globalisation. The forum participants discussed issues of economic independence and competitiveness of the youth and conditions for the development of business activity and entrepreneurship among the them, career support in the conditions of the megapolis, small towns and villages of this country and other aspects of vital activity of the youth.
The participants suggested to work up a Concept for developing spiritual and moral culture and competitiveness of the youth entitled “The youth as a strategic resource of Uzbekistan” and prepare a target program entitled “Partnership with a view of supporting the youth business activity and competitiveness.”
