TASHKENT, April 28, 2006 (AFP) - Uzbekistan`s police arrested four suspected drug dealers and confiscated 16.5 kilogrammes (36.4 pounds) of heroin and 170,000 dollars in the capital Tashkent, the interior ministry said Friday.
The arrest of a man who was trying to sell about 2.5 kilogrammes of heroin for 39,000 dollars led tothe arrest of other members of the group, two men and a woman, all Uzbek nationals, said a ministry official who asked not to be named.
