The platform says that Milliy Tiklanish is a political power working for a selflessly service to national interests of the motherland in the name of its great future.
In a following briefing chairman of Political Council of the party Mr. A. Tursunov said that the main purpose of the congress was to demonstrate what kind of goals the party was intended for and what it could give the ordinary people.
He noted, the basic objectives of the Milliy Tiklanish (National Revival) Democratic Party of Uzbekistan are defending national interests of the country, preserving and respecting spiritual values, customs, traditions and historic heritage, as well as propagating ideas of the national revival, its regular improvement, building a legal and democratic state and forming a civil society. “We would like to mobilize the people for creative activities,” he said.
Today Milliy Tiklanish numbers more than 110 thousand members. Its main electorates are representatives of such spheres as science, education, culture etc.
It needs to be reminded that elections to Uzbek Parliament and local bodies of the representative power will be held on December 27 2009.
